Samsung’s latest flagships, the Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge, are basically the same devices that we saw last year in the Galaxy S6 family. However this time around, Samsung has listened to the complaints of their customers and added back features like microSD support, better hardware, and namely, better battery life. Battery life is something we all care about, and now Samsung has topped the charts on their battery size with the whopping 5,000 mAh battery on the new Galaxy A9 Pro.
The previously launched Galaxy A9 already packed a huge 4,000 mAh battery, but this A9 Pro adds an extra 1,000 mAh. All of that combined with the 6-Inch 1080p SuperAMOLED display and mid-range Snapdragon 652 processor should help make a device which will last days on a charge. Other specs on the Galaxy A9 Pro include 4GB of RAM, 32GB of storage (backed up by a microSD expansion slot), 16MP/8MP cameras, and a fingerprint sensor. It also features a metal and glass design and Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow out of the box.
While this all sounds awesome, there is one big caveat, Samsung will only be releasing this device in the Chinese market, so you’ll be a bit limited in terms of where you can buy it. If you are in the Chinese market however, the Galaxy A9 Pro will run 3,499 Yuan (about $540) and will be available in Rose Gold, White, and Pink.
