Samsung’s latest set of smartphones have proved quite popular since their release, however they do cost quite a pretty penny, especially if you’re trying to purchase unlocked. That said however, Newegg is currently offering both the Galaxy S7 and the S7 Edge for up to 25% off today through April 9th. This GSM unlocked model will work on carriers such as T-Mobile, AT&T, and Cricket Wireless here in the United States. It will not work on CDMA networks such as Verizon or Sprint. Unfortunately no specific model number is listed, so it’s a safe bet that this is an Exynos 8890 powered unit rather than a Snapdragon 820 model.
Newegg’s discount brings an unlocked Galaxy S7 (SM-G930) down to $599 (down $200 from their normal selling price of $799) and brings the S7 Edge (SM-G935) down to $699 (from $899). Obviously the list prices are just a bit inflated, but this deal still cuts the price down considerably. The Onyx Black and Platinum Gold models are both available with 32GB of storage. These devices also come with 1,200 and 1,400 Newegg EggPoints for members of the site. If you’re interested in purchasing, click here.
