Amazon debuted their $50 Fire Tablet earlier this year and we were all a bit surprised at just how good it was for the price. Today however, the company is refreshing the tablet just a bit with a few new options. First of all, you now have the option to choose between 8GB of storage and 16GB of storage. You’ll need to pay $20 extra to get the extra storage, but the trade-off will be worth it for many (even though the tablet does feature a microSD card slot).
The Fire Tablet also now comes in a few new colors, adding to the black only option that we previously had. The new colors include blue, magenta, and tangerine. As bright as they are, they should appeal to many users. Both the new colors and extra storage tiers are available today.
