April Security Patch Now On Its Way To The Galaxy S7/Edge On AT&T
AT&T has today announced that they are pushing out the latest Android security patch to the Samsung Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge on their network. The update weighs in at 173MB and fixes several issues including one major vulnerability that could enable the remote execution of code on devices with the exploit being applied through methods such as email, web browsing, an MMS messages. The update also carries enhancements for palm rejection on the Galaxy S7 Edge that should help users avoid accidentally pressing icons when holding the phone since the screens curves down the edges.
The update is rolling out right now and if you’d like to download it, head over to the Software Update section on your device or wait for the system update notification.
