Android Pay Gains Support For Several More New Banks

The viability for a mobile payment solution such as Android Pay is going to depend on agreements made with the banks. Once card compatibility comes to Android Pay, more and more users will be to make those mobile payments. On Tuesday the Android blog published another large list of banks now participating with Android Pay.¬†That very long list of existing and expanded financial institutions can be found on their post here, but below you’ll be able to find everything that’s new.

Several government agency and employee credit unions were added to the list. One of the more noticeable banks added to that list include Capital One, Fidelity Bank, and Key Bank. There are still a few banks not listed and many of those institutions have hesitated adding support in favor of their own payment platforms. The Android blog urges their users to check back frequently to see the list as it expands.
