According to infamous tipster Evan Blass, Verizon is preparing to pick up a new Android tablet from ASUS, the ZenPad Z8. This new 8″ Android tablet seems like it’ll be heading to Verizon’s network sometime in the near future with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 650 processor under the hood with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of storage. The device also packs a resolution of 2048×1536 and offers 8MP and 1.8MP on the back and front respectively. There’s also a microSD card slot for extra storage.

It’s unclear right now when this device will be launching, or for how much, but it’ll be interesting to see it’s debut as we have seen many solid Android tablets in the past few months. We’ll keep an eye out for more information on the ZenPad Z8 over the coming weeks, so stay tuned for more.
