Sony has today finally announced the Xperia E5, a new mid-range device for the European, Latin American, Middle East, and African markets. The device will be available starting late next month starting at €199 (at least in Europe.
The device packs a 5″ 720p display, MediaTek MT6735 1.3GHz quad-core processor, 1.5GB of RAM, 16GB of storage, and 13MP/5MP cameras. It also features NFC and LTE Cat 4 as well as Android Marshmallow. Unlike most Sony devices, it doesn’t seem that the E5 is water resistant.
Sony also claims 2 days worth of battery life out of this device with a 2,700 mah battery under the hood.
