Samsung has been rolling out Android Marshmallow on their 2015 devices for quite some time now, but AT&T has been pretty slow to get those out to their variants. Just last month they finally pushed it to the Galaxy S6, but the Note 5 and Galaxy S6 Edge+ were left waiting. That changes today however as AT&T has finally pushed the update.
Marshmallow will arrive to both devices as a 1.4GB update that should be available by the time you’re reading this. As usual this update brings the standard Marshmallow goodies such as Doze, Google Now on Tap, and app permissions among many others. Samsung also adds in their own UI tweaks as they’ve done with other Marshmallow updates.
