A few weeks after the official announcement, Verizon and Motorola have today officially released details on the pricing and release date of the new Moto Z and Moto Z Force, at least the Droid Editions.
Starting today both devices are available for pre-order through Verizon Wireless only with the full releases coming next Thursday. Pricing for the Moto Z Droid Edition lands at $624 with monthly pricing coming in at $26 a month. The Moto Z Force Droid Edition will coming in at $720 outright with monthly pricing landing at $30 a month.
Both devices are exclusive to Verizon for now with a GSM unlocked Moto Z coming later this year. The Moto Z Force however will remain a Verizon exclusive in the US. Do keep in mind however that both devices do come SIM-unlocked out of the box.
“Together with Motorola, we’re fueling the smartphone revolution, and fostering the development of new ideas that are not only changing the wireless world we know today, but redefining the future of technology,” said Jeff Dietel, vice president of Wireless Devices at Verizon. “There’s truly nothing else out there like the Moto Z Droids. While these phones are powerful on their own, when you combine them with the new Moto Mods you transform them into powerful devices that take you way beyond a phone.”
Along with the phones, Verizon has also put Moto Mods up for sale with prices ranging from $15 for Style Shells all the way up to $299 for the Insta-Share projector. Verizon is also offering a limited time deal between today and July 27th where you can get all Moto Mods buy one get one 40% off through Verizon’s website.
