Boost Mobile is one of the more popular prepaid US carriers and, with that, it offers a wide variety of smartphones at various price tiers and more. If you’re not sure what to get, here are a few suggestions for buying a smartphone on Boost Mobile.
The Best From Android: Samsung Galaxy S7
The Galaxy S7 might warrant your attention. Packed with top-tier specifications, excellent cameras, and Samsung’s dozens of software tricks, the Galaxy S7 is an excellent choice. Packing a 5.1-inch SuperAMOLED display, premium glass/metal design, and IP68 protection from dust and water, the Galaxy S7 is without a doubt one of the best smartphones on the market today and easily the best Android device on Boost Mobile.
Boost Mobile sells the Galaxy S7 for $599 at full retail both online and in-store. You can read our full review here.
The Best From Apple: iPhone 7/7 Plus
If you’re looking for an option in Apple’s ecosystem, the choice is pretty obvious — the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus. Apple’s latest hardware brings a lot to the table, and Boost Mobile has both options available in stores and online. The smaller iPhone 7 and the larger iPhone 7 Plus offer top-of-the-line performance, great cameras, good battery life, and a water resistant device, all encased in fantastic hardware. A downside for many buyers might be the lack of a headphone jack, but an adapter is included in the box.
Boost Mobile offers the iPhone 7 for $549 at retail and the iPhone 7 Plus for $669 — $100 off the unlocked counterparts. For that price, you’ll get the 32GB variant.
Great Battery Life, Yet Still Affordable: LG X Power
If you’re looking for outstanding battery life without spending an arm and a leg, LG’s X Power is a great option. With a 5.3-inch HD display, octa-core processor, Android Marshmallow, and respectable 8MP/5MP camera setup, the X Power is a solid mid-range smartphone. However, it also brings a massive 4,100 mAh battery which is rated to last up to 33 hours of talk time. Pricing for the LG X Power on Boost Mobile lands at $129, but Boost Mobile will cut $30 off that price if you purchase online, at least for a limited time.

The Ultra-Affordable: Moto E LTE
If you need to spend as little as possible on your smartphone, you can easily grab a device that’s well outside of the description of “good.” However, Boost Mobile offers the Moto E, a solid Android mid-range device which is priced at just $19.99 on the carrier’s website. The device goes out of stock from time to time, but if you can get it, it’s a fantastic deal.
The Moto E offers a 4.5-inch display, quad-core Snapdragon processor, 1GB of RAM, 8GB of storage with a microSD card slot, and a battery rated for about 14 hours of talk time. It also packs Android Lollipop out of the box with hardly any skin which leads to good performance, something you won’t always see with phones this inexpensive. There are very few phones we can recommend at this price point, but the Moto E is an exception, and it’s certainly worth checking out, especially for $19.99.Moto E LTE at Boost Mobile
