Earlier this year on stage with Apple, Nintendo revealed that it was making its first ever mobile game ─ Super Mario Run. As a new, more interactive take on an endless runner, Super Mario Run promises to be a ton of fun, and now it’s finally available.
Right now, Super Mario Run is available exclusively for iOS devices ─ both iPhones and iPads alike. The game is free to download but to get the full experience, you’ll need to fork over $9.99. The game features three primary modes including World Tour, Toad Rally, and Kingdom Builder.
A new kind of Mario game that you can play with one hand. In this game, Mario constantly moves forward through the courses while you use a variety of jumps to navigate. Mario will behave differently depending on the timing of your taps, so it’s up to you to show off particularly smooth moves, gather coins, and reach the goal.
If you’re interested in giving the game a shot, it’s available over on iTunes. While right now it’s exclusive to iOS. Nintendo has confirmed that it will eventually come to Android.
