One of my favorite laptops in recent memory is the HP Spectre x360 13″. With powerful hardware and a gorgeous overall design, it’s a pretty spectacular machine. Now, HP is expanding the selection on its latest ultrabook with a new color option and an upgraded display.

First of all, HP has released a new, 4K model of the Spectre x360 13″ — a pretty big upgrade on the FHD display that comes with other models. Granted, that added resolution will have a pretty big hit on battery life, but it will likely be a worthwhile trade-off for many.

Along with that, HP has refreshed the hardware on the FHD model, offering a new “Dark Ash” color variant which swaps the light silver color for a dark, matte silver option with bronze trim along the sides and logo. This new color variant is available in FHD through HP’s online store, and is also available in 4K through Best Buy. As you would expect, this new color option packs the same internal specifications as the standard model, namely an Intel 7th generation chipset, up to 16GB of RAM, and up to 512GB of storage.

Stay tuned for our full review of the Spectre x360 13″ soon.
