TP-Link’s Alexa/Google Assistant compatible WiFi smart plug starts at just $18

Last year we published a list of smart home tech you could purchase for under $50. But how about smart home tech you can purchase for under $20? That’s right! Amazon has TP-Link’s original smart switch for only $18. The regular selling price is $24.99, so that’s a saving of about $7. If you want to get the new TP-Link Mini, you can pick one up for $24.99 instead of $34.99.

In order to get this deal, you must add the item to your cart and proceed to checkout. It seems to only work if there’s one item in your cart. If there’s more than one item in your cart, it will not apply the discount. This also seems to apply to other smart products. You may want to experiment and see what you can add to your cart and get the discount. I was also able to get a TP-Link Smart LED bulb (white) for $17.99. If you don’t have Amazon Prime, you’ll have to pay shipping on each order or add other items to reach the $35 minimum for free shipping. This could negate any savings you’ll receive on this special.

The TP-Link products work with both Amazon Alexa and Google Home. It is unknown how long these prices are good, but it appears to be special pricing for Earth Day, which is on Saturday.
