Following the Manchester terror attack AT&T, Sprint, and more are offering free calls to the UK

In the wake of the terrorist attack that happened at the Ariana Grande concert in Manchester last night, several carriers are offering free calls and texts from the USA to England. After a tragedy like this, it’s always a nice gesture when carriers show some heart and allow us to connect with our friends and loved ones for free.

AT&T will waive fees or offer a credit for all calls made from the USA to England between May 22nd and 24th in your local timezone. Boost Mobile, Sprint, and Virgin Mobile will also waive all fees for calls and texts made between the USA and the United Kingdom during the same time frame, as well as for customers who are roaming in the United Kingdom.

As with all emergencies, texting is recommended as lines will be congested due to the amount of calls.  Our thoughts go out to all of those in attendance and those who have been affected by this tragedy.
