The new 10.5-inch and 12.9-inch iPad Pro models were recently announced at WWDC. They come with some big upgrades to the display and the processor, including the new ProMotion technology which delivers refresh rates up to 120hz, making scrolling and content the smoothest it has ever been. Further, these new models bring improvements to the Apple Pencil performance offering a 20-millisecond latency. Thanks to this, drawing is now more responsive, natural, and fluid.
The display is also the brightest it’s ever been, and more intelligent as well. It changes the white balance to match your surroundings and is capable of delivering digital cinema standard colors. At the same time, the display reduces power consumption and the bezels have been reduced 40% on the 10.5-inch model.
The new 64-bit A10X Fusion chip offers stellar performance, faster than many laptops shipping these days. The six-core CPU and 12-core GPU delivers 30 percent faster CPU performance and 40 percent faster graphics performance than the A9X. Now you can play all the games you want and edit photos like a pro, while still getting all day battery life. The new iPad Pro models also feature the same advanced rear and front facing cameras as the iPhone 7 along with a four-speaker audio system.
If you’re itching to get your hands on the new iPad Pro models AT&T, T-Mobile, and Verizon have all began taking pre-orders starting June 7th. Both models will also be available in stores starting next week.
The 10.5-inch iPad Pro is available in silver, space gray, gold and rose gold. The 12.9-inch iPad Pro is available in silver, space gray and gold. Apple is also accepting orders for both the WiFi and Cellular models through its store.
