Epic Games just announced that it will be bringing the same Battle Royale gameplay we’ve all come to love to the devices that literally never leave our sides. In an attempt to put the game across all platforms, this is their latest push to reach gamers of all kinds.

Fortnite has become a roaring success for the company despite the coming closure of the comes shot at the MOBA genre, Paragon. Seeing the “Victory Royale” come across your TV or monitor has become something of a social must in the height of the game’s success, so why not make it appear on your smartphone? For the iPhone users reading, you can sign up on March 12th, while the Android fans will have to wait “a few months” to fight for “Victory Royale.”

Hey Fortnite Community,

Fortnite Battle Royale is coming to mobile devices! On phones and tablets, Fortnite is the same 100-player game you know from PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC, and Mac. Same gameplay, same map, same content, same weekly updates. Starting Monday, you can sign-up for the Invite Event on iOS. Support for Android will be coming in the next few months.

In partnership with our friends at Sony, Fortnite Battle Royale will support Cross Play and Cross Progression between PlayStation 4, PC, Mac, iOS and eventually Android. This means players across devices can squad up with friends and play together.

We believe this is the future of games. The same game on all platforms. Console quality graphics and action. Play when you want, where you want.
