Only released a few a months ago in May of this year, the OnePlus 6 is about to be followed up by the new OnePlus 6T, and today some new details are coming out.
According to a report from CNET, the OnePlus 6T will likely be released sometime in October of this year. The price of the phone is apparently set at $550 — $20 more than the OnePlus 6 — but has yet to be finalized.
The report goes on to mention that T-Mobile could be the exclusive wireless carrier on the OnePlus 6T. Along with that, a standard, global version of the phone available at the same time will be supported by both AT&T and T-Mobile. Sprint and Verizon will not be providers because of the different wireless standards.
The OnePlus 6T that launches on T-Mobile will be specially optimized to work with the network, specifically with 600 megahertz support. Although the carrier launch is estimated to be in October, a delay could occur. The OnePlus 6T must be certified by T-Mobile and has to pass “Technical Approval” before the U.S. launch.Source: CNET
